One Halakhah Closer to Becoming an Eshet Hayil

BS''D
6 Heshvan 5773

BH it is such a zekhout to announce that one Hebrew year has passed since MidrESHET Hayil has started. A big Yashar Koah to all those who joined so far! May HaShem always provide us with the ability to keep up our learning and to implement these teachings in the right way. May we be zokhot to become true Nashei Hayil!
In honor of this BH we will be holding our first of weekly shiurim THIS Wednesday October 24th at Torah Ohr (575 Middle Neck Road in Great Neck NY) at 7:30pm. I look forward to seeing each and every one of you there! HAZAK!!

36. Women are not obligated to hear Keriat HaTorah (Torah Reading) in Beit Keneset, yet, it is Hasidut for her to hear the Torah Reading on Mondays and Thursdays, Shabbat Kodesh, and Yom Tov in Beit Keneset with the Sibur (public/congregation). HOWEVER, if by her attending there will be speaking in the women's section in Beit Kensset which is disturbing to the Tefillah, she should go and rather should daven at home.
