One ROSH HODESH KISLEV Closer to Becoming an Eshet Hayil

BS''D
Today is ROSH HODESH KISLEV!!
Remember to say Ya'aleh Ve'Yavo in the Amidah and in Birkat HaMazon J

**Please learn and daven for the safety of Kelal Yisrael and Eress Yisrael in this distressing time. May HaShem protect us always!

Hodesh Kislev comes from the word 'Kesel' which means trust. This month is one of increased Emounah and Bitahon in HaShem. The darkest time of the year, Hodesh Kislev is when we light up the world and ask HaKadosh Barukh Hu to illuminate the darkness in our lives. It is no coincidence then that the symbol for Hodesh Kislev is a bow, like that of a bow and arrow. As opposed to a sword, a bow is an instrument that requires much Emounah to use. Once we launch it, we can do no more, we have to have adequate trust that it will land in the right place. The previous month, Heshvan, was void of any holidays. This gave us the time to pull back our bows, gain the proper momentum and direction for us to launch is in Hodesh Kislev and to soar!

As we all know, the situation in Eress Yisrael is not safe at all. Hundreds of missiles are being shot into Jewish neighborhoods and many are severely affected. This is the time where we need to daven and extend our Tefillot for the safety of Kelal Yisrael and Eress Yisrael. This is the time where we need to increase our trust in HaShem-it's Kislev. May our learning be a zekhout for their shemirah, protection. May this be a Hodesh of Berakhah, Simhah, Hasslahah Rabbah and Bessrot tovot for  ALL of Kelal Yisrael. May HaKadosh Barukh Hu protect us always. May this be the month of the ultimate GEULAH, Amen!!
