One Halakhah Closer to Becoming an Eshet Hayil

BS''D
19 Tevet 5773

5. A woman who ate a meal of bread and was satiated and recited Birkat HaMazon for herself and had in mind to say it also on behalf of a male who ate a meal of bread and was satiated, AND the male had in mind that the woman would make the Birkat HaMazon on his behalf, he is technically 'yosseh' (exonerated) from the Missvah on a bedieved level (not the best but a 'last case scenario').

While some people would consider today to be some sort of new year, for us Yehoudim, it is midyear. Let us remember that our new year, Rosh HaShanah, was only a few months ago. What is our progress since then? Are we on the level now that we wished to be? Have we worked on or fulfilled our 'resolutions'. Are we still in the spirit of doing Teshuvah? Are we moving upwards or did we forget the promises we made to ourselves and to HaShem? Each morning we wake up, it should feel like a new year to us--we have a new chance every single day to improve and to become closer to HaKadosh Barukh Hu. And so, in that vain, I wish you Nashim Sadikot a Happy Mid Year :) Tizku leMissvot Rabbot veKol Tuv! Keep moving up!!
