One Halakhah Closer to Becoming an Eshet Hayil

BS''D
7 Adar 5773

BH Today is Zayin Adar, the yahrzeit of Moshe Rabbenu a"h. It is a very powerful time for Tefillah. When Moshe Rabbenu reached his 515th prayer to HaKadosh Barukh Hu to allow him to enter Eress Yisrael, HaShem requested of him to stop before the 516th, since HaShem would have to finally answer it. Moshe Rabbenu agreed to give up his own Tefillah on the condition that every Tefillah that Kelal Yisrael pray on this day should be answered. For an inspirational Devar Torah on the power of Tefillah on this day, please visit dvashdvar.blogspot.com :) Be'Ezrat HaShem Yitbarakh may all our tefillot be answered le'tova u'leberakha!

III.  Mishlo'ah Manot
1.  Each man and woman must send a food gift composed of at least two types of food or drink that may be used for that day's festive meal to at least one person. The primary purpose of this Missvah is to increase friendship between people. To some extent it may also provide for some needy, however, the Missvah of Mishlo'ah Manot is not fulfilled by sending money.
