One Halakhah Closer to Becoming an Eshet Hayil

BS''D
6 Nisan 5773

We interrupt the daily Halakhot for a very important message:  When one sees two blossoming fruit trees during Nisan,  Birkat Ha'ilanot is recited. This Berakhah is recited only once each year by men and women. It may be recited on Shabbat or Yom Tov :)

Karpas We eat less than a  kazzayit of a green vegetable (celery is our custom) after dipping it in salt water. We recite  Boreh Peri Ha'Adamah on the karpas  vegetable. It is our custom to have intention that this berakha "cover" the Ha'Adamah of the maror, which will be eaten later
Yahas The middle Massah is broken, by hand, into two pieces. The smaller piece is replaced between the two whole Massot while the larger piece is set aside for Afikoman.
