Shabbat Mevarekhim Hodesh Nisan Parashat Vayakhel-Pikoudei, Shabbat HaHodesh (The Shabbat before Rosh Hodesh Nisan)

Hadlakat Nerot NY 5:36pm
Mossai Shabbat 6:36pm
Rabbenu Tam 7:08pm

2. a. Massah should not be eaten Erev Pesah (the morning before Pesah night) even in the morning so as to eat the Massah of the Seder with greater desire and appetite. Cake made with Massah meal, since it is baked the way bread or Massah is, should also not be eaten Erev Pesah.
b. One should not eat a filling meal of any food in the later afternoon as it may lessen one’s appetite for the evening’s Massah.
